<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print newer information and information more superior in fine view with uniform print quality in respective regions dotted in a wide range while suppressing the increase in total cost and to quickly deliver printed matters to readers, with respect to a printing system and method suitable for printing of newspaper to be widely delivered. <P>SOLUTION: The printing system includes a print data generation/distribution base 1 for generating/distributing print data including pattern data of space and regional printing offices 2 distributedly arranged per region, and each regional printing office 2 is provided with a printing press for commercial printing, and the printing press in the regional printing office 2 executes commercial printing while adjusting at least one of the amount of ink supply and pattern data on the basis of pattern data common to respective regional printing offices, which is included in print data, and profile data relating to space and the printing press so that a preliminarily determined reference print color tone can be obtained approximately uniformly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
