A process for the preparation of ceramic powder of mullite-zirconium composition comprises alkoxylane hydrolysis in the presence of acid catalyst, mixing of hydrolysis product with carriers of ion metals and hydrolyzate thermal treatment. The part of ions А1is added as water-soluble salt, the rest – as sol of mixture of aluminium and zirconium hydroxides, obtained by the interaction of solution of zirconium oxynitrate and aluminium powder and further mixing of carriers of ion metals with hydrolyzed alkoxylane. |
