A method for controlling the number and harnfullness of opportunistic phytophage populations includes overall settling of populations of a parasitic insect, in particular Trichogramma, in agrocenoses. Saturating the agrocenoses with entomophages is carried out by means of settling the Trichogramma (Trichogramma pintoi Voeg.) in 3-4 stages and Trichogramma evanescens Westw. in 2-3 stages, at the beginning of increasing the number of the phytophages, with an interval of 7-8 days with a consumption rate of 40-50 females per one bush of berry fields. In addition, at the beginning of mass birth of caterpillars of the phytophage triple settling of the ectoparasite Habrobracon hebetor Say. is carried out, with an interval of 7-9 days in an equivalent of 8-10 females per one bush. In row spacings of berry fields, at an area of no less than 0.5-1.0% of the total area, nectariferous plants, in particular phacelia, seed crops of carrot and parsley, are cultivated. |
