An image forming apparatus is provided to enable a guide member to move horizontally and rotate to prevent the interference of adjacent parts, thereby removing a jammed paper easily. An image forming apparatus includes a paper feeding unit(20), a developing unit(30), and a transfer unit(60). The paper feeding unit includes a paper feeding cassette(21) and a pickup roller(27). The paper feeding cassette loads papers. The pickup roller picks up the papers loaded on the paper feeding cassette. The developing unit forms a visible image on a paper supplied from the paper feeding unit. The transfer unit includes a feeding roller(61) and a guide member(65). The feeding roller transfers the paper picked up by the pickup roller to the developing unit. The guide member guides the paper transferred through the feeding roller. The guide member is rotatably installed to remove the paper easily when the jam of the paper, which is transferred to a paper transfer path formed between the feeding roller and the guide member, occurs. The guide member moves horizontally to prevent the interference of the feeding roller when the guide member rotates.
