A communication device and a method for sending plural images during a video call by using the device are provided to set and display the plural images, and to send the images to the other party, while the images are set to desired various images for a user, thereby satisfying the user's desire for uniqueness. A camera unit(110) takes an image of a caller. A memory unit(130) stores at least one image. A display unit(150) displays the stored images and the taken image of the caller. A transceiver(100) transmits the displayed images and the image of the caller. A controller(160) controls the displayed images to be transmitted together with the image of the caller or transmitted by replacing the image of the caller, in case of a video call.
