Residual current protection switch and method for constructing same

The breaker has a comparator for comparing a supply voltage with a reference voltage. A trigger circuit (32) receives an output signal of the comparator and controls a trigger element (34) for interrupting current flow in a line system. An amplifier has an output (24) coupled with an input (26) of the comparator via a rectifier diode (44). The comparator input is coupled with a mass over a capacitive element (28) and a resistance element (46). The amplifier and the comparator are commonly arranged on an integrated circuit to which the capacitive element and the resistance element are attached. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a residual current circuit breaker for interrupting a current flow into a line system.
