发明名称 METHOD FOR PRODUCING HYDROGEL OF LOW ADHESIVE (METH)ACRYLIC ACID(ACRYLATE)-BASED WATER SOLUBLE POLYMER
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogel of a low adhesive (meth)acrylic acid(acrylate)-based water soluble polymer which can be suitably used for an additive or a hydrophilic ointment base material for a poultice agent or a cataplasm agent, a thickener for a compound for a carpet, a thickener, an adhesive, and an adhesion improving agent for a coating material, a red mud precipitant in alumina production, a flocculant for salt water purification in soda industry, an excavated soil treating agent, a dredged soil treating agent, a slurry preparation agent, a moisture absorbent, a desiccant, a surface modifier, various kinds of thickeners, or the like; and to provide a method for producing the same, by which the hydrogel can be continuously obtained at a high efficiency. SOLUTION: The method for continuously producing the hydrogel of a low adhesive (meth)acrylic acid(acrylate)-based water soluble polymer comprises subjecting a polymerization solution containing monomer components wherein (meth)acrylic acid(acrylate) is contained in amount of≥60 mol% to 100 mol% of total monomer used in polymerization to an aqueous solution polymerization. The method for producing the hydrogel includes a process comprising adjusting the pH of the polymerization solution containing the monomer components within a range of 7-14 and performing polymerization under such conditions the gel thickness is 8-50 mm and the polymerization peak temperature is≤85°C by using a belt polymerization machine in which the belt surface being brought into contact with the hydrogel is made of stainless steel.
