Device for feeding of brush elements (21) from an input buffer (3) with unsorted brush elements to a brush tamping machine (12a,12b), with a transport unit (7) for transporting the brush elements from the input buffer into the region of a transport gripper (sic) in order to transfer the brush elements to a brush tamping machine feed device. A sorting device (5) is located between the input buffer and the transport unit (7) for alignment of the brush elements.
