PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a whirl-stop mechanism for a tire vulcanizer, capable of stopping surely the rotation of a lower bead ring with respect to a lifter, and capable of preventing a problem wherein the lower bead ring comes off from the lifter, from being generated. SOLUTION: The bead ring whirl-stop mechanism is provided with a stopper member 20 attached to allow advance and retract with respect to either of the lower bead ring 8 or the lifter 5, in the other of the lower bead ring 8 or the lifter 5. The stopper member 20 is provided with a protrusion 20C advanced into a recess 5D formed along a circumferential direction in the one side of the lower bead ring 8 or the lifter 5, and engaged therewith, by an energizing force of a compression spring 23 provided as an energizing means.
