ELECTROLYTIC SOLUTION USING QUARTERNARY AMMONIUM SALT ELECTROLYTE AND ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic solution which further improves an age-based performance deterioration of an electrochemical device, is not separated out or set up under a low temperature environment (-20°C), and further has a high electric conductance. SOLUTION: The electrolytic solution for the electrochemical device contains: an electrolyte (B) containing a quarternary ammonium salt compound (A) represented by the general formula (1) (wherein X-represents counter anion, and a HOMO energy by a first principle molecular orbital calculation of the counter anion is -0.60 to -0.20 a.u.); and a solvent comprising a mixture solvent (H) of dimethyl carbonate and a nonaqueous solvent (G) other than the dimethyl carbonate. A weight of the dimethyl carbonate with respect to a weight of the mixture solvent (H) is 5 to 50 wt.%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
