PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge wherein leaked ink is effectively prevented from becoming an ink droplet and dripping off. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge 10 is provided with a cartridge body 20 storing ink. A cylindrical ink distribution portion 99 protruded to the outside of the cartridge body 20 is provided on the back 102 of the cartridge body 20. An ink flow path 120 is formed inside the ink distribution portion 99 in the state of the ink cartridge 10 being mounted. The outer peripheral surface 63 of the ink distribution portion 99 is covered with a cap 95. A first groove 118 is provided in the inner surface 112 of the cap 95.
