<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording glossy paper, which is highly gloss though having favorable ink absorbency and further is also excellent in the surface strength of the surface of a gloss developing layer and furthermore has image quality being equal to a medium made of the base material of a photographic paper or of a film and glossy feeling and, at the same time, can be recycled. <P>SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording gloss paper, whereon a cast coating processing is performed by a coagulating method, a gloss developing layer coating liquid contains, as a pigment, a colloidal silica having a shape wherein a plurality of particles are randomly coagulated, 97 mol% or less saponified polyvinyl alcohol in a binder, and a 20° glossiness corresponding to JIS Z 8741 is 20% or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
