PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the operation of an illumination device, according to the state of an optical member.SOLUTION: The illumination device capable of changing the radiation direction of light by automatically driving a movable part including a light-emitting part, includes the optical member which can be projected from the inside of the movable part and drive control means which controls the drive of the movable part. The optical member can be moved between a use position where the optical member is projected from the inside of the movable part, to be illuminated with the light radiated from the light-emitting part and a non-use position where the optical member is stored inside the movable part, not to be illuminated with the light radiated from the light-emitting part. The drive control means controls the drive of the movable part, so as to more restrict a direction where the movable part is driven, when the movable part is automatically driven in such a state that the optical member is located in the use position than when the movable part is automatically driven in such a state that the optical member is located in the non-use position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
