PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check a degradation suppressant included in a diffusion layer for elutability.SOLUTION: A method for inspection of a diffusion layer including an agent for suppressing the degradation of an electrolyte is used for a membrane-electrode assembly for forming a fuel battery cell. The method comprises: a measurement step where the diffusion layer is immersed in an acidic solution and then, an amount of the suppressing agent eluted from the diffusion layer into the acidic solution is measured; and an exception determination step where if the amount of the suppressing agent measured in the measurement step deviates from a permissible range, the diffusion layer is determined to be excluded from a group of parts to be incorporated in fuel battery cells.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
