PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective sleeve which can effectively prevent a weft from fraying from a cut end and a method of producing the same.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a protective sleeve that coats and protects a long object. The protective sleeve has a base material formed by weaving a plurality of warps along a longitudinal axis, and a plurality of wefts along a direction substantially vertical to the longitudinal direction of the warps, the weft having a heat-fusible yarn.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
