PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-liquid mixture transport apparatus and a solid-liquid mixture transport method that can facilitate transport of a solid-liquid mixture in a transport pipe and prevent an abnormal condition in the transport pipe.SOLUTION: A transport apparatus 1 for a solid-liquid mixture is used in a process for manufacturing brewing food and transports the solid-liquid mixture to a preparation tank 5. The transport apparatus 1 includes: a transport pipe 31 for transporting the solid-liquid mixture; and an air supply pipe 25 for supplying compressed air to the transport pipe 31. The compressed air facilitates transport of the solid-liquid mixture in the transport pipe 31, preventing an abnormal transport condition in the transport pipe 31. Since in this configuration the compressed air is also supplied during transport of the solid-liquid mixture, even if a rate of liquid in the solid-liquid mixture is low or even if a transport speed of the solid-liquid mixture is low, the compressed air facilitates transport of the solid-liquid mixture, allowing for smooth transport and preventing a blockage in the transport pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
