PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for calcining a ceramic molding which, while maintaining a stable joined state, suitably suppresses the occurrence of a void when calcining a ceramic molding sandwiched between two layers of medium to which to be adhered.SOLUTION: A method of calcining a ceramic molding sandwiches a "ceramic molding 2 whose contour is located at the same position or inside of the contour of a first medium 1 to which to be adhered and located at the same position or outside of the contour of a second medium 43 to which to be adhered" between the first medium 1 to which to be adhered that is a lower layer and the second medium 43 to which to be adhered that is an upper layer, and calcines the ceramic molding 2, said method including an assembly step and a calcination step. In the assembly step of the calcination method in one embodiment, a second medium 43 to which to be adhered that has a through-hole 45 in the middle section is further placed on the ceramic molding 2 placed on the first medium 1 to which to be adhered. In the calcination step, the ceramic molding 2 is calcined while discharging air from the through-hole 45. It is thus possible to suitably suppress the occurrence of a void in the calcination step of the ceramic molding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
