PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens capable of achieving good imaging performance over an entire zoom area while reducing its size and achieving rapid focusing even when a focal length at a telephoto end is made to be longer, and an imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: A zoom lens includes at least, in order from an object side: a first lens group G1 having positive refractive power; a second lens group G2 having negative refractive power; and a final lens group G5 disposed closest to an image surface side. By moving the final lens group G5 to an image surface IMG side, focusing on a close subject from infinity is performed. A predetermined conditional expression is satisfied by a lateral magnification of the final lens group and a lateral magnification of the lens group disposed closer to the object side with an air interval between the final lens and the lens group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
