According to an embodiment, a band type sensor is a member configuring an appearance of the band type sensor as a band type sensor comprising a gesture sensor. The band type sensor comprises: a band including a second effective region in which the gesture sensor is arranged, an ineffective region arranged adjacently to the second effective region, and a coupling region arranged in the ineffective region; and a coupling member arranged in the coupling region of the band. Therefore, the band type sensor enables a user interface optimized from a wearable device based on gesture recognition.
