The present invention relates to a vehicle entry sensing device which has an improved structure to accurately track the type and entry speed of a vehicle as well as accurately sensing whether the vehicle enters. According to the present invention, the vehicle entry sensing device is installed on a vehicle entrance path to sense whether a vehicle enters. The vehicle entry sensing device includes: a light emitting unit which is installed on a side of the vehicle entrance path and includes multiple light emitting devices arranged in a vertical direction; a light reception unit which is installed on the opposite side of the light emitting unit while having the vehicle entrance path there-between and includes multiple light reception devices arranged in a vertical direction to receive the light emitted from the light emitting unit; and a control unit which determines whether a vehicle enters in accordance with whether the light reception unit receives the light emitted from the light emitting unit. The light reception unit includes: a first light reception device array made of multiple light reception devices arranged in a first column in a vertical direction; and a second light reception device array which is spaced apart from the first light reception device array in a vehicle entry direction and is made of multiple light reception devices arranged in a second column in a vertical direction. |
