The present invention relates to a planetary gear speed reducer of a steering apparatus for a vehicle. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the planetary gear speed reducer of a steering apparatus for a vehicle comprises: a first sun gear connected to a motor shaft; a plurality of first planetary gears externally coupled to the first sun gear; a first ring gear fixed by being coupled to an inner circumferential face of a gear housing, to which the first planetary gears are internally coupled; a first carrier coupled by penetration of a rotary shaft of the first planetary gears, in which an upper carrier coupled to an upper end of the rotary shaft of the first planetary gears is vertically connected to a lower carrier coupled to a lower end of the rotary shaft of the first planetary gears by multiple connection members; a second sun gear internally coupled to the first carrier; a plurality of second planetary gears externally coupled to the second sun gear; a second carrier in which a pinion shaft is coupled to a center part after penetrating the center part and a rotary shaft of the second planetary gears is coupled to a center part after penetrating the center part; and a second ring gear fixed by being coupled to the inner circumferential face of the gear housing and internally coupled to the second planetary gears. |
