A SMART TRAY FOR SORTING FRUITS

The present invention relates to a smart tray for sorting fruits. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the smart tray for sorting fruits includes: a cylindrical lower frame having an open upper surface and an open center part of the lower surface, wherein a circular protrusion unit is formed at a rim of the open center part of the lower surface; a middle blocking layer connected to the circular protrusion unit formed at the rim of the center part and on the upper surface of the outer circumference of the lower frame, wherein the middle blocking layer also supports fruits by having a circular through hole at the center part; an upper blocking layer connected to the upper part of the middle blocking layer and supporting the fruits by having a circular through hole at the center; and a coil type RFID tag fixed to the lower frame. According to the present invention, the smart tray for sorting fruits can reduce costs of an RFID reader by overcoming a limit of the RFID reader by installing a circular coil-shaped tag in a lower end of the tray for sorting fruits. The smart tray can reduce a tray recognition error by obtaining timing of accurate tray recognition and can reduce complexity of a system by simplifying the structure of a fruit sorter. The smart tray can improve reliability of the fruit sorter.
