PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device capable of causing a motor generator to generate negative torque according to downshifting.SOLUTION: An electronic control device includes a battery, a second MG as a traveling driving source, and a three-phase inverter for executing bidirectional power conversion between the battery and the second MG, and is mounted on a vehicle gear-changed by a driver's shift operation. This electronic control device outputs, when downshifting by a manual operation is detected and charging to the battery is inhibited, a switching signal to each arm so that all three-phase upper arms or all three-phase lower arms constituting a three-phase inverter can be simultaneously turned ON, and subjects a shutdown signal to PWM control while outputting the shutdown signal to all the three-phase upper arms or lower arms.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
