PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively disperse jellyfishes and other foreign objects, without using a water gun.SOLUTION: A guiding device 1 for a foreign object is installed in a plant 100 having a water inlet 103 and a dust remover 110 fitted on a downstream side of the water inlet, for removing a foreign object from service water that is taken in, by guiding the foreign object floating in the service water in a flow channel 104 between the water inlet and the dust remover. The guiding device for a foreign object includes a blade member 10 installed swingably in the flow channel, and control means for driving and controlling the blade member. The control means causes the blade member to swing when a difference in water level between an upstream side and a downstream side of the dust remover increases above a threshold value. By swinging the blade member, jellyfishes are dispersed so that the dust remover is not penetrated by a large amount of jellyfishes in a short period of time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
