PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp socket which allows for easy mounting of a straight tube lamp at a normal position, and a lighting fixture.SOLUTION: A lamp socket 1 in which the lamp pin of a straight tube lamp rotates the straight tube lamp from a removable mount/demount position, and mounts the straight tube lamp at a normal mount position, includes a body (housing 3, cover 4) having a pin inlet 3b through which the lamp pin of a straight tube lamp passes at the time of mount/demount, and a rotor 5 having an identification section 5e that is disposed at the pin inlet 3b when the lamp pin is at the normal mounting position, and held by the body so as to rotate together with the straight tube lamp.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
