PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor that prevents a foreign object such as a skirt and goods of a passenger from being caught in a space between a footstep and a skirt guard.SOLUTION: Air is continuously blown from air blowing ports 607 provided on both sides of a comb 60 while a footstep 30 is moving. When a woman wearing a skirt approaches the comb 60 from an entrance of an upper floor side to get on the footstep 30 from a getting-on-and-off board 32, the woman is guided to the inside of the footstep 30 along projection parts 603 on both sides of the comb 60, and the skirt does not come close to a space between the footstep 30 and a skirt guard 44. Furthermore, the skirt flows to the inside of the footstep 30 by the wind from the air blowing ports 607 of the comb 60 so as not to be caught in the space between the footstep 30 and the skirt guard 44.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
