PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new Kawakura-style water regulating cofferdam, which succeeds a "Kawakura-style" that is a typical style of Japanese traditional water regulating structures, integrated with a modern technology for regenerating a water regulating method, and a construction method thereof.SOLUTION: A water regulating cofferdam comprises: a Kawakura body configured roughly in a pyramidal form by assembling carbon steel tubes for general structures; a bag filled with cobblestones, to be installed on a bottom part of the Kawakura body; a bag filled with cobblestones hanging tool for hanging up a bag with its bag mouth kept open when stones are changed therein; and a binding wire 3 for binding the bag filled with cobblestones. In a method for constructing the water regulating cofferdam, the materials are industrially mass-produced as a set of products and stored in reserve, enabling construction work to be completed in an extremely short period of time using a heavy machine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
