PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce stress generated inside of a valve case in starting a steam turbine, in the steam turbine performing a quick start.SOLUTION: A steam valve 1 controlling a steam flow into a steam turbine includes: valve elements 5, 10; valve cases 6, 11 provided therein with valve seats 18, 22 on which the valve element 5 abuts; jackets 28, 29 covering at least parts of the valve cases 6, 11; and heating steam pipes respectively branched from the insides of the jackets 28, 29 and a steam passage 17 on an upstream side of the steam valve. Steam is led to flow into the jackets through the heating steam pipes, thereby heating at least parts of the valve cases 6, 11. |
