PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment coil that allows efficient joining of adjacent ones of segment coils as aligned and disposed in slots of an annular core and that effectively prevents degradation of insulation coatings, particularly on coil ends, and to provide a stator using the segment coil, and a method for manufacturing the segment coil.SOLUTION: Segment coils 12 are aligned and disposed in slots 11c of an annular core 11. Each segment coil 12 has a straight portion C and a pair of coil ends E1 and E2. A tip end of the coil end E2 serves as a joining tip end portion S that has a joining surface S1 on which the segment coil 12 is joined to another one of the segment coils 12. The joining tip end portion S is configured in such a manner that the joining surface S1 is parallel to a radial direction of the annular core 11 as seen from an axial direction. |
