PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a time taken from the start of power supply to an on-vehicle camera to the output of an image signal.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle camera system 10 includes an on-vehicle camera (rear camera 13), a power source circuit part 102 for supplying power to the on-vehicle camera, and a control part 100 for controlling the power source circuit part and starting power supply when it is detected that a shift position of a vehicle is switched from drive to neutral, or that the shift position is switched to parking regardless of the last shift position. The control part may start power supply when an intermediate point between drive and neutral is detected, or an intermediate point between parking and reverse is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
