The present invention relates to a power generation apparatus using a wave. More specifically, the present invention relates to a power generation method and the power generation apparatus using a wave, significantly improving power generating efficiency by generating power regardless of the changed direction of a gradient caused by the wave. The power generation apparatus using a wave comprises: a circular outer pipe; a circular winding coil pipe mounted inside the outer pipe; a conductive winding coil wound around the outside of a winding coil; and one or more armatures moved inside the winding coil pipe in accordance with a change in the gradient caused by the wave to generate the change in a magnetic force. The present invention generates power regardless of the direction of the gradient caused by the wave to improve power generating efficiency.
