PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-rotation detector which eliminates the need of winding work, reduces axial and outer diameter sizes and reduces cost.SOLUTION: The multi-rotation detector is configured to detect a multi-rotation amount of an input shaft by a plurality of resolvers. Each of the resolvers comprises: a rotor part which includes a rotor core that is formed from a magnetic flux modulation member and is rotated in a speed reduction ratio that is different from a rotor part of the other resolver, with rotations of the input shaft; and a stator part including an excitation winding that excites an AC magnetic flux in a rotation axis direction of the rotor par, and two detection windings that output amplitude modulated AC signals correspondingly to a rotation angle of the rotor part. The excitation windings and the detection windings of the plurality of resolvers are formed from conductor patterns on the same multilayer printed circuit board.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
