PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize output torque of a rotary electric machine by suppressing a rectangular wave voltage from being output although PWM control is performed.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a control device 40 which controls a rotary electric machine 10 by adjusting an output voltage output from an inverter 20 to the rotary electric machine 10. The control device comprises a PWM control part 41 which sets a fundamental wave of a sine wave as a command value of an output voltage based upon a torque command value, and performs PWM control based upon a comparison between the fundamental wave and a carrier; a rectangular wave control part 42 which performs rectangular wave control for adjusting the phase of the output voltage of the rectangular wave based upon the torque command value; and a switching control part 43 which performs switching from the PWM control to the rectangular wave control on condition that a modulation rate as a ratio of an amplitude of the fundamental wave and an input voltage to an inverter 20 exceeds a modulation rate threshold when the PWM control is being performed, the switching control part 43 setting the modulation rate threshold based upon the number of pulses of the carrier included in one cycle of the fundamental wave.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
