The sight is for fitting in the front bead bracket (2) of a carbine and has a holding ring (11) with lugs (12) and a bead (13). The latter is mounted in a sight tunnel (3) with a profiled bracket (5), whose side faces are parallel to the bead axis. The tunnel pref. has a bush (4), brazed to the bracket, whose foot can be of dovetail section. The latter can be slid into the bead bracket, with the correct position marked by a notch. ADVANTAGE - Securing in truly vertical position, without loosening by the recoil effect.
