<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram apparatus capable of reproducing a hologram recorded with high density by a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The hologram apparatus has a light source 1 emitting reference light and reads out information recorded in a hologram 2a by allowing the light from the light source 1 to enter the hologram formed in a recording medium 2, wherein the light source 1 comprises a laser 10 having a plurality of peak wavelengths in the emission intensity of generated light, and a demultiplexing grating 12 which emits the light from the laser 10 at different angles for each of the peak wavelengths. The light source 1 is equipped with an optical switch 14 which renders the light emitted from the demultiplexing grating 12 into a transmissive or non-transmissive state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
