摘要 To stabilise the edge zones of chipboards, a row of jets (16) to inject a hardening medium is activated along the edge in groups according to the standard length of the board or according to the individual case. A group of jets is structured to inject along part of the board edge length, and they operate in steps along the length. The number of jets in each group. is pref. structured so that, with the gps. the full length of the board edge is injected and stabilised. Each group is activated which lies symmetrically within the row of jets, and the jets are operated twice by a half jet interval displacement to increase the edge stability. The number of jet (16) groups used and their step activation along the board edge is determined automatically by a stored programme calculated from the board length. ADVANTAGE - Requires no manual adjustment, and is flexible to accomodate boards of various lengths.
