The window or door hinge has top and bottom halves joined by a hinge spindle. A support bolt protruding from the top half engages in a door or window with overshot, while two support bolts fixed to the bottom half engage in the frame. The spindle (3) is detachable from both halves, and screws into the bottom one. The halves are usable with doors or windows opening to left or right, and the thread tapped in the bottom half extends right through it. The same locking devices (24,35,36) are used to prevent the bolts (6) on the bottom half being pulled out, whichever the opening direction. ADVANTAGE - Allows position correction in several planes without removal of door or window. |
