The water-ski has a body (2) forming a pointed blade at one end, and with a binding on the top. There are one or more floats (4) on the top of the body, to give additional buoyancy. These can be formed by soft and elastic bodies, and in which there can be chambers (6, 6') filled with gas under pressure, and for which valves can be included. The bodies can be of buoyant material, preferably foamed or porous plastics. USE/ADVANTAGE - Improved buoyancy giving better travel characteristics.
