<p>PURPOSE:To enable a bathwater detective device, which is designed to detect whether a bathtub contains water or not when the bathtub is filled with bathwater, to detect whether a bathtub contains water or not while the bathtub is being filled with hot water and make the detection simple and convenient. CONSTITUTION:A vibration-sensitive sensor, such as a flowing water-sensitive acoustic sensor 4, is provided in a water passageway 30 through which hot water is supplied to a bathtub 1. When the bathtub is filled, it is detected whether the bathtub contains water or not on the basis of the output signal from the sensor which varies depending on the sound of hot water falling into the bathtub from the end opening of the water passageway 30.</p> |
