<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a hot water supply system in which propagation of aqueous bacteria such as Legionella is prevented in a pipe between a faucet and a hot water storage tank by keeping water in the pipe at a low sterilization temperature when hot water is supplied. CONSTITUTION: Hot water is supplied to the faucet at a hot water outlet by coupling a heating container 1, an electric heater 5 for heating water therein, an inlet 2 for supplying pressurized cold water to the heating container, a hot water outlet 8 formed in the vicinity of the upper end of the heating container, and an inlet 7 for returning hot water to the vicinity of the bottom of the heating container. The hot water supply system comprises a hot water loop 9 for circulating hot water from the hot water outlet 8 to the hot water return inlet 7, and a thermostat arranged in the heating container in order to sustain the hot water at a low sterilization temperature by controlling the electric heater to sustain the water in the heating container at a predetermined temperature.</p> |
