PURPOSE:To improve image qualities of both a vector part and an image part in the print out of a document consisting of said parts in a mixed state. CONSTITUTION:When a target image data area is a vector area, the image quality of image data is improved by an anti-aliasing processing. When a target image data area is an image area, the image quality of image data is improved by multivaluing the image data. Furthermore, when a target image data area is an image area, whether the image data is binary data or multivalued data is judged, and in accordance with the judgement, either an image smoothing processing or a multivalued-image-quality improving processing is conducted. |
