<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a character string which is not displayed on a screen printed on a print medium. <P>SOLUTION: In a table 34 of a print server 3, correspondence information between non-displayed unique fonts from a WWW server 1 and printable fonts is registered. At a request from a client 2, in the server 1, a character string insertion function 11 embeds character strings specified with non-displayed unique fonts into documents from a folder 13 and distributes it to the client 2, and a font transfer function 12 transfers the unique fonts to the client 2. With a browser 21 of the client 2, the character strings specified with this unique fonts are not displayed in the display of this distributed documents. When the client 2 requests a print server 3 to print, a print processor 33 performs conversion processing of this documents to be printed to print data using the table 34, and the unique fonts are replaced with printable fonts by the font correspondence information, and the character strings specified with the unique fonts become printable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
