Device for conversion and output of recorded facsimile image data

The device operates on data recorded on both the front (V) and the back (R) of a record carrier (1) which is being driven (2) along a transport path (3). Zones on the front of the carrier are read by a scanner (V1), and zones on the back of the carrier are read by another scanner (R1). The scanned zones extend at right angles to the direction of motion over the entire image area. Separate control units supervise the conversion and buffer-storage of both sets of data in the form of facsimile code.
