PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the message recording even by a telephone set without provision of any automatic answering telephone function by adding the function of automatic message recording to the cable telephone terminal equipment. SOLUTION: A control means 4 sets a logic level of a reception control data 103 to '1' when a count of a call tone pulse data 102 reaches a prescribed count. Thus, based on a recording control signal 106 outputted from the control means 4 to a recording/reproduction interface 6, the recording/reproduction interface 6 stores notice data 105 outputted from a gate array 3 to a memory 7 to allow voice data stored in a notice data reception buffer (not shown) in the gate array 3 to be stored in the memory 7 to conduct automatic message recording.
