PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate water content from cell structure material, and improve the withstand voltage of a cell, by constituting a separator of water content absorber and electric insulation matrix material. SOLUTION: A pair of polarisable electrodes 1 having collectors 2 on the rears are made to face each other interposing a separator 3, accommodated in a case 5, and sealed by using a lid 6 and a gasket 4. The polarisable electrodes 1 and the separator 3 are impregnated with electrolyte. The separator 3 is woven fabric or non-woven fabric or paper sheet or press mold constituted of water content absorber and electric insulation matrix material. The polarisable electrodes 1 are formed by the following process; mixture of active carbon fiber and cellulose fiber is made a paper, mixed paper sheet electrodes are formed and coated with methanol solution of carboxymethyl cellulose in which A type zeolite is dispersed, and drying is performed. |
