<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caulking device for a metal plate for tape reels, which doesn't have a front end surface of a welding horn brought into contact with the surface of the metal plate and doesn't require alignment between a boss of a tape reel and the welding horn when manufacturing. <P>SOLUTION: A caulking device 1 of the metal plate for tape reels inserts a plurality of bosses 14 formed in one end face of a tape reel 10, to a plurality of boss holes 22 formed in a metal plate 20 and caulks bosses 14 projecting from the boss holes 22 to fix the metal plate 20 to one end face of the tape reel 10.
