摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability and cycle properties at high temperature by suppressing a decrease in battery capacity following charge/discharge cycles at high temperature, in a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using a lithium transition metal compound oxide having a laminar structure as a positive electrode active substance. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises a positive electrode containing a positive electrode active substance for storing/discharging lithium, a negative electrode containing a negative electrode active substance for storing and discharging lithium, and a nonaqueous electrolyte having lithium ion conductivity.
