PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the resistance of a battery against drop and impact. SOLUTION: In this battery, an insulating ring 6 is disposed between an electrode group 4 with positive and negative electrodes and a separator spinally wound and a port sealing plate 2. The upper part of the ring 6 contacts to the bottom of the port sealing plate 2 and the lower part of the ring 6 contacts to the electrode group 4 with being pressurized. By securely fixing the electrode group 4, this battery suppresses the deformation of a positive electrode lead part due to impact and vibration and prevents a case groove part or the negative electrode end of the upper part of the electrode group 4 from being contacted. |
