PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate wrong mounting at a sight by forming a wall-like projection having a height lower than the outline of a positive side projection and a thickness smaller than a clearance dimension into the structure that the current is not carried in the case where dry batteries are abnormally mounted. SOLUTION: A wall-like projection 8 having a thickness smaller than the clearance dimension A to be generated between dry batteries connected in series and a height B is provided between the clearance dimension A. In the case where the dry batteries are mounted in the normal condition, the projection 8 dose not abut on the dry batteries. A wall-like projection having a thickness smaller than the clearance dimension A and a height C is provided in a battery case lid between the clearance battery dimension A to be generated between the dry batteries, and in the case where the dry batteries are installed in the normal position, the battery case lid can be closed. An intermediate terminal provided with a positive side contact is provided between adjacent dry batteries, in a bottom of a recessed shape shallower than the projection dimension A of a positive side of the dry battery.
