PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack device satisfying the electric machine and appliance explosion-proof construction standards without blocking the gas valve holes of a battery cell. SOLUTION: In this battery pack device, the inside of a battery housing (A) having an air hole 18 is partitioned into a battery accommodating part 3 and a current limiting circuit accommodating part 4 by a wall part 23. First, second and third battery cells 5, 6 and 7 are accommodated in this battery accommodating part 3 and a heat conductive insulator 17 is filled in the battery accommodating part 3 to cover the first, second and third battery cells 5, 6 and 7 with the heat conductive insulator 17. A cavity part (B) that communicates gas valve holes 5c, 6c and 7c of the first, second and third battery cells 5, 6 and 7 with the air hole 18 is disposed in the heat conductive insulator 17. |
